In addition to the regular Dining Saloon, the Company maintains, under its own
management, an a Ia carte Restaurant on the Promenade Deck, where meals may
be obtained at any hour at fixed charges.
RESTAURANT. If passage is taken entirely without meals in the regular Dining
Saloon, an allowance of £6 l0s. 0d or $25 per adult will be made from the Ocean
Rate for transportation including meals.
Provided the Restaurant is not fully booked, passengers may, on notifying the
Purser within 24 hours after sailing, arrange to take their meals exclusively
in the Restaurant, and avail of the rebate.
Should passengers who have booked for meals in the Restaurant be invited by
friends to join them in the Dining Saloon, this can be arranged at fixed charges.
Passengers who have booked for the regular Dining Saloon may also take occasional
meals in the Restaurant on payment, if accommodation is available.
The Dining room covers almost a quzrter of an acre and the ceiling reaches
31 feet.
PALM COURT. Adjoining the Restaurant is the Palm Court where light refreshments
may be obtained as per tariff.
The Palm Court is also under the Company's management.
